Temba Mliswa and Zimbabwe's village heads have expressed support for the 2026 constitutional amendment bill, stating that it will enhance governance and national stability. They argue the proposed changes are crucial for creating a more cohesive political environment and fostering long-term development.
In a formal submission to Parliament, the group emphasized that the amendment aligns with the country's Vision 2030 goals, which aim to transform Zimbabwe into an upper-middle-income economy by the end of the decade. They believe the reforms will provide a stronger foundation for economic growth and social progress.
