A suspended Zimbabwe Football Association (Zifa) board member has claimed that coaching and referees courses organized by Zifa's interim board are issuing unaccredited certificates. According to the former official, these certificates are not recognized by the Confederation of African Football (Caf) or Fifa.
The ex-board member warned individuals participating in the courses that they may be wasting their money, as the qualifications obtained would hold no official standing. The claim raises concerns about the legitimacy of recent certification programs run under Zifa's current administration.
