Synchronized figure skating, freeride skiing, and snowboarding will make their Olympic debut at the 2030 Winter Olympics in France. The additions are part of the International Olympic Committee's updated sports program aimed at modernizing the Games and increasing gender equality.

The new disciplines will replace the men-only Nordic Combined event. This change reflects a broader effort to balance participation across genders and include more inclusive and youth-oriented winter sports.
