The Vancouver Giants have fired head coach Parker Burgess, one day after general manager Hnat Domenichelli stepped down from his position. The coaching change comes after a disappointing season for the team, which failed to meet expectations despite a strong roster on paper.
The Giants finished last in the Western Conference with a 25-39-2-2 record. The poor performance prompted a leadership shakeup, beginning with Domenichelli's resignation and followed by Burgess's dismissal. The team has not named a replacement for either position.
