Uzbek referee Ilgiz Tantashev has been appointed to officiate the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier between Algeria and Austria, scheduled for 28 June. The match will see Tantashev take charge as the central referee, overseeing gameplay and disciplinary decisions.
