A 68-year-old Lancashire rider, Alan Oversby, has died following a crash during the 400cc Pre-TT Classic Road Race on the Isle of Man. The incident occurred on the second lap of the race near Ballakeighan.
Oversby was an experienced competitor with a history of success at the event, having secured 16 previous wins. Emergency services responded to the scene, but he succumbed to his injuries.
